Agencies’ use of maintenance therapy from physical therapists decreased in 2017 compared to 2016, according to data from Minneapolis-based ABILITY Network, Inc. Agencies used the maintenance therapy G code for PT during 0.72% of standard PPS home health episodes in 2017 — after using it during 0.94% of episodes in 2016.
